BABEL, an experimental guitar and electronics project of Toronto-based musician Jakob Rehlinger (also of MOONWOOD, TRANZMIT, etc), takes the discipline of drone music in new directions with "FEBRIS." Building on layers of looped sound, Rehlinger turns himself into a responsive orchestra, thoughtfully building both sides of "FEBRIS" into fever dream vistas with a wide dynamic range and a narrative sense of apprehension.
